AEEDC 2019: Education and Innovation Transfer

The UAE International Dental Conference Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) is the leading dental event in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia region (MENASA) and the second largest dental event in the world. The event is now stepping into its 24th year, with the theme of Education & Innovation Transfer. More than 150 international and regional speakers delivered lectures and hands-on workshops on various aspects of dentistry. The exhibition displayed the latest technologies and products with more than 2484 exhibiting companies.

Under the concept of digital innovation in dental care, VATECH displayed the PaX-i Insight (2.5D), the Green16 (3D), and the EzScan, which are flagship models of digital X-ray diagnostic equipment. Vatech received rave reviews from dentists in the Middle East, who visited the booth on the basis of differentiation and innovation.

Vatech Mena (VME) plans to approach and lead the market with a two-track strategy- for 2D device customers, the company is planning to introduce affordable yet essential devices to dentists, such as an intraoral sensor, while targeting the 3D device market with unique and innovative technologies that only Vatech can offer.

VME’s main targets are hospitals and R/Cs (Radiology Centers), where a high-demand for 3D devices exists. By winning consumer’s hearts in the public sector first, VME anticipates expanding its market influence.
