Vatech Night in Mongolia
On May 24th, Vatech hosted an event called Vatech Night, held at the Chinggis Khan hotel in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The objective of this event was to introduce our company to the dentists of Mongolia. Over 200 Mongolia-based dentists participated in the event, confirming their level of interest in our company and products.
Global marketing team: Hello! Manager Hae Rin Kim (Sarah Kim), can you give us a brief introduction of yourself and what Vatech Night was about?
Hae Rin Kim: Hello! My name is Hae Rin Kim and I am the Manager of the Southeast Asia sales team. This was an exciting event because it was the first time we held Vatech Night in Mongolia. I was elated to see so many dentists show an interest in our company and we were able to successfully end the event. This year, we officially launched major distribution of our products in Mongolia. HQ training began during the first quarter and our Vatech Night event was hosted in the second quarter.
Global marketing team: What was the main objective of this event?
Hae Rin Kim: We decided to prioritize Vatech Night because research showed that Mongolia’s dental market has been neglected. There are only 350 dental clinics in the country, so market penetration would be achievable. Although Mongolia is vast, it is the least densely populated country in the world, with a population of only 3 million people.
We held our event in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, but potential clients from different areas of the country attended as well. Our attendee expectation number was at a maximum of 150 doctors, but with an attendance number of 200, we consider Vatech Night to have been a big success.
Global marketing team: What do you think the doctors were most impressed with/interested in and why?
Hae Rin Kim: Thankfully, everyone enjoyed themselves much more than we anticipated. Many of the attendees said they would love to join us for another Vatech Night!
